At what age can you ride a motorcycle?

But let's go in order, the "AM" license is the old "license", you can take it when you are 14 years old; it provides for both theoretical and practical tests on the road and allows driving only vehicles with a maximum displacement of 50cc (equivalent to 4Kw if electric motor) or the famous "microcars".

The A license, also known as A3, allows you to drive all types of motorcycles (two-wheelers and tricycles), without any limitation of displacement and power.
To obtain it, it is necessary to take a theoretical exam (it is the same quiz for a car driving license) and a practical exam, which is also divided into a closed area and an open area, i.e. in the street.

In short, the cost of the license, seen here as a private owner, costs about 150 euros, more or less. If, on the other hand, you entrust all the documents to the driving school, you avoid all the queues at the DMV and undoubtedly save time, but you spend more: at least 200 or 250 euros, depending on the driving school.
If you turn to a private driving school, you can spend between 200 and 250 euros (registration, theory course and presentation to exams). If, on the other hand, you only face the driving test (with the driving school moped) after having already passed the theoretical exam as a private owner, you will spend around 100-130 euros.
Upon reaching the age of majority it is possible to obtain the A2 driving license, which allows you to drive motorcycles of any displacement as long as they do not exceed the maximum power of 35 kW and the power / weight ratio of 0,2 kW / kg.
The A2 motorcycle license can be obtained after the age of 18 and allows you to drive motorcycles with a maximum power of 35 kW that do not exceed the power / weight ratio of 0,2 kW / kg.
Wanting to make a summary and arrive at a hypothetical figure, the A2 license has a cost of about € 150,00 as a private owner. If, on the other hand, you want to go to a driving school, the costs go up to around 250,00 euros.
Assuming 8 hours of driving, having the A1 driving license B will cost you around € 900. The bureaucratic costs of enrollment (bulletins and medical certificates) and those of the driving school (enrollment, guides and practical exam) are included.
